Sleeping with a Psychopath was such an interesting read, I hadn't heard anything of this story prior to reading this book, and honestly didn't even realise it was a non-fiction book until I started reading and it read a lot like a fiction book. I was absolutely hooked on this story and read the entire book in one sitting it was just too good to put it down. I don't usually pick up books like this but I thought I'd give it a chance and I'm so glad I did. Carolyn Woods is an insanely talented writer and I'm so glad I've had my eyes opened to this story and I definitely feel more confident about picking up a new genre of books that I wouldn't have done before now that I've dipped my toes in the water with this one. From someone who spends a lot of time on the internet, the main character did seem quite naïve from my perspective, but it's also important to empathise with this woman who didn't have that outsiders perspective and was clearly being very emotionally manipulated.
