I want to start by saying my review does NOT take blame away from a mark. What he did was disgusting, and should never have happened to Carolyn or anyone else.
I found this book a little repetitive a times. While I felt sympathy for Carolyn at times, other times it was hard to. She came across as vain, arrogant, and stuck up women. One a few occasions she talks about her figure and how attractive she is.
I also found it hard to believe some of the things at times. Some of the things Mark said and did screamed ‘catfish’ they was so blatantly lies. I know the saying blinded by love but surely common sense would kick in at some point? Anyway back to the repetition this book could have been a lot shorter had it not been for that.
I am glad he was brought to justice and I hope this book has helped drawn attention to the possibilities and extents some people will go to, to con people. But overall I do not recommend this book, it was just poorly written in my opinion.
