I really enjoyed this book, it was so easy to read and quite gripping at times. It is a true story of how Carolyn Woods fell for the lies of the psychopath, Mark Conway. At first I was a bit sceptical about how she could actually believe him and be duped by him but this story was so well written that you can actually picture how she fell for his lies and deceipt. This book is her story from meeting him and is so full of emotion that I ended up not being able to put down. It reads like a thriller with all the twists and turns and shows how clever Mark actually was and how he made her believe his lies and ended up ruinung her life leaving her with nothing. I'm so glad that she preserveered in bringing him to justice despite feeling let down by the police force. This book just goes to show it doesn't matter who you are you can find yourself a victim of anyone at anytime.
