i went into reading this book thinking it would be non-fiction, but i was wrong, and that shocked me.
i’m a person that loves watching/reading anything that is about true crime, as it interests me so much.
So this book to me was fascinating, yes terrifying at the same time.
The writing style was simple and made it easy to read, if you are into that sort of thing.
People may think that it is hard to feel sympathy for Carolyn, but that would go against the plot of the book as she couldn’t see what was happening- which is common in abusive relationships.
She looks back on the signs that she should have noticed but didn’t, so it really is that east to miss everything.
This book is a well- written thriller and i love how the author portrayed a very clever and manipulative psychopath.
It was a nice quick and easy read and i will certainly recommend this book if
you are into true crime, thriller and anything dark!
