Growing up wishing I lived in a caravan (look, I'm not too sure why but yearly trips to Barmouth will do that to you I guess) meant I had an instant attraction to the characters and the opening setting of the story.

I'm not sure on my feelings towards Billy as a character, so I would be keen to read more to find out what my true opinion is on him. I was not drawn to him so much as I am in other first impressions of books.

When I got to page 14, I read (coincidentally) 14 words that made me want to read the entire book: "I enter Dublin on my own for the first time as a convicted
criminal." I am so intrigued to now find out more.

I like the writing style, I think it is easy to digest and from my initial look at this book, I believe it would be a fast-paced read with twists and turns to keep the reader engaged.
