It weirdly gave me "Normal people" vibes, for a short moment. I love how she's living in her own world, full of dreams, prophecies, and strong emotions. And how, by discovering a whole another world (college) she's becoming "darker"(understand: becoming an adult), she sees her family and many things as they really are. It sounds like a coming-of-age book full of feels, honest emotions, laughter and the inevitable walk towards adulthood.
