I found this extract quite boring. I was not drawn in by any of it. I liked the sound of the synopsis but unfortunately the extract did not meet my expectations. The story may get better later on but I found it difficult to read even these pages. The first chapter was the most dull, therefore I wonder if others would even make it through to the next chapter. I don't like the front cover, I would likely ignore this cover if it was on a shelf.
