This story really tugs at your heartstrings from the first page; its easy relatable nature means you cannot help but root for the main character ( we have after all, all been somewhat similar to her at some point in our lives ) even when she is naive, to say the least. The subtle shift in tone from childhood to adulthood is endearing as you can see little pieces of nostalgia being clung to within the narrative. Definitely one I can see becoming a firm favourite for a lot of people.
