Immediately the juxtaposition of childhood Debs' magical view of the world and 18 year old Debs' perception of the same thing has me hooked. I love the way the author has attacked the situation truly pulling me back to my childhood innocence and immediately ripping me back to the sensitive navigation of early adulthood. Very nostalgic and intriguing!
