Raw & resonating - this book spoke to me as someone also about to depart off to university. I loved the contrast between the memory of Debbie's early childhood and her 18th birthday. Both take place in the same caravan yet the author creates a completely different atmosphere - the metaphors are wonderful. Similar themes to 'Normal People' by Sally Rooney - I can't wait to read this book! The cover is so effective - I love the colours and clean lines.
