I really liked the look of this book when I read the blurb but the extract that I read was boring. It just didn't grab me at all. I found the dialogue stilted and unrealistic. And the writing style quite clunky. It's a shame because the synopsis really appealed to me and Billy and Debbie sounded like interesting characters.
