The first thing that grasped my attention was the idea of Debbie’s prophetical dreams. I expect the records that she keeps in combination with the reality of her life, will be an interesting contrast and give the novel two threads of thought that may coincide or clash.
I’m also intrigued to see how Debbie’s mother and Billy will be perceived in both her dreams and reality. I imagine that her prophecies of the other characters will be her subconscious attempting to piece together their pasts and align this with what she knows of them in the present. I anticipate the writer exploring the viewpoints of Debbie’s mother and Billy - to give an insight into what they see of Debbie’s two lives.
