What I enjoyed about the extract was reading about Debbie's platonic relationship with her uncle, Billy. There seems to be a lot of banter between them and their dialogue is fun to read. I also appreciate how this book is set in Ireland and also at a university, as it's quite hard to find books with these elements.
I want to read more because I would like to see how Debbie navigates university and the different types of people and situations she will encounter.
Lastly, I like the simplicity of the cover. The blue and orange compliment each other very well. Also, the girl sitting near the edge by herself looks quite lonely. This captures the brief feeling of loneliness one might experience before going to university.
