I'm not a fan of the cover but I feel like it works with the book so far. The blurb didn't really speak to me but I felt interested because Debbie is in a similar stage of life to me. The extract was really what sold me. I think it comes across as very down to earth and personally, I want to read more about how Debbie conquers university. I hope there are some twists and turns but even without, the book has the potential to be a FANTASTIC coming of age. I also really liked the bringing in of the Irish dialect/accent; I think that's very sweet and contributes to the realism of the novel. I think the book would resonate with a lot of people even if they aren't facing as many obstacles as Debbie.
