My go to when making a first impression about a book is the cover but also the title. So lets dive in a bit deeper and explore them. Well... the cover is most certainly abstract but what's great about that is I can make up my own assumption on what the book might be about unlike other books with pretty self-explanatory covers. It ignights my curiosity... why is she sat on the edge of something? Why is her back facing away from us? Moving on to the title, it honestly made me laugh as the first thought that came into my mind was how baby boomers love the term 'snowflake'. Considering my frist impressions of the cover and the title, it is making me wonder whether the book is based on someone my own age (early 20s) and truthfully I really want to get my hands on this book to find out more!
