I thought the first look was very intriguing. I loved the dynamic between her and Billy and thought it was lovely to read. The main character is written well and I loved her bold naïve attitude.thw writing style was also very pleasant to read. While I did enjoy this first look, looking at the whole synopsis and the themes it appears to cover it would probably not be my style. that is no reflection on the author or the book itself. Just my personal preferences
