I think the cover is very telling of how this book will initially play out, a story of a lonely girl and the colours go very well together. I like how it seems that Maeve and Billy, although not conventionally perfect, support Debbie unconditionally. I'm interested to see what makes Debbie see that her family are her 'places of safety'. It will be interesting to see how Debbie finds city life as a girl from a rural background. I can absolutely relate to Debbie in leaving home for uni and realising that your family are always there to support you!
