Although I enjoyed the first impression I'm not entierly sure where the rest of the story is going. I liked how it was writtern however there were a few parts (especially at the start) which were a bit confusing. I'm also quite confused about her relationship with her uncle - I'm not 100% sure if they have a good or bad relationship though this may be intentional.
