...When I saw the title and read the by-line 'A novel for a generation', this was my first thought. But, actually, this first impression was enjoyable. Debbie's relationship with her Uncle Billy and her experiences on her first day at college are familiar across generations. I'd quite happily read on. I like the cover, it is simple yet striking.
