First of all the cover instantly grabbed my attention, it's so beautiful and I knew I had to read it. And my god, it did not disappoint. This book is a well crafted coming of age story which drew me in from the first words. The character were likable and the story is amazing. I was expecting a typical coming of age story but it was completely different from my initial expectations. The way the author writes about mental illness is so beautiful and engaging and the relatability of the the book just tops it off. Most books often portray mental illness in an exaggerated or often inaccurate way so when a book gets it right it's simply just amazing. I would definitely reread this book.
