I received this book from readers first to review, and although it has taken me a while to get around to, I really did enjoy it! I found the style of writing very compelling, and the plot line interesting, and intriguing. I loved following the characters and seeing how they developed into fully fledged people who we could connect with, and sympathize with. I also like the cover, I find personally that the bold colours really go together, and are extremely impactful at setting the whole tone for the book. The simplicity works perfectly for this book, and it really encapsulated the essence of it. Unfortunately, I haven't quite given it five stars, but then again I can be rather picky when it come to book, so that's not entirely the fault of the author, there were just some moments which almost fell a bit lackluster, but overall, a great read!
