Reading this book was a joy and it certainly put the time I set aside to good use. I enjoyed reading about the characters in this book and how they managed to go through everything. It really made me think of how the outside world is and how the people that surround Debbie have their own characters are so special. This book definitely made me view things in a different perspective especially when Debbie was brought up on a farm so she has unique views on certain matters. Debbie goes through a huge transition from farm life to college life and it is interesting to see her change and heartening to see the ways in which she changes.
