The author has written this book with the issue of mental health at the forefront. Set in Ireland you get to follow Debbie who lives on a dairy farm with her uncle Billy and mum Maeve. Debbie is about to head off into the big wide world and go off to college in Dublin. Sometimes with a sense of humour the actions Debbie takes sets you off into a fit of giggles but there is heartbreak, upset and tragedy in the story of Debbie. You follow as she learns to grow into her own skin whilst trying to learn to be an adult. I found that I whizzed through the chapters very easily and quickly as the author writes this story with ease at the beginning of the book, however, towards the middle the story seemed to shift as Debbie's dreams just suddenly disappeared and then returned towards the final chapters. It is more unusual than most books that I have read but I like a challenge
