I really do genuinely adore the cover's design. It is so vibrant and bold, and the choice of using complementary colours has really contributed to the eye catching cover. This book sounds like a coming-of-age, emotional tale with a special plot line to me. Nothing in the first few pages led me to believe I knew where things were heading, leaving me eager to learn more about the book. I feel compelled to read this book from beginning to end because I can feel so much emotion in such a brief glimpse into the quirky lives depicted in it. I'm interested in learning about Debbie's new life and how she connects it to her former, as well as the mysteries surrounding her mother Maeve. Just from reading the first few pages, I'm already a fan of the author's writing style. I was immediately caught up in this book. I'd love to finish the rest of this book.
