I found The Beekeeper of Aleppo to be a beautifully written and heartbreaking read that I struggled to put down. Therefore hearing of this book by the same author immediately I wanted to read it. The sample provided suggest that this book could be just as good as the author's previous work. The first pages are written from the perspectives of Nisha's partner and employer and introduce us to the mystery of her disappearance. This in itself drew my interest and made me want to know more. It is the writing style itself however that makes me so enthusiastic. The authors ability to describe the peoples and places in her works really draw you in, making you feel like you could see, smell and touch what she is describing.
This appears to be yet another incredibly well written story that I will definitely be reading.
