I thoroughly enjoyed this (although maybe not quite as much as The Beekeeper of Aleppo) and like the author's previous work, it introduced a thought provoking story-line and themes. I liked how the story was told by alternating characters; Yiannis and Petra, and found that this made the book accessible and easy to follow. The writing is beautiful, as is the book itself, and like The Beekeeper..
