I was really looking forward to delving into this book. It had been a little out of my comfort zone but I am so glad I stepped out of it to read this beautiful story about these amazing people who are so different yet so alike. It tells the story of Nisha who comes Cyprus from Sri Lanka to work for a mother and her child and meets a man called Yiannis and falls in love. But Nisha also leaves behind her own daughter who is only two years older than the girl she looks after at work, who can only communicate via a phone call at night. It was such an amazing story about women and grieving mother's who leave their lives behind to find a better life for their family and who have to sacrifice everything to do so. It also shares the story about the man she falls in love with and her employer trying to find Nisha and also finding out they hardly know her at all. It is also set in Cyprus and tells beautiful stories from such an amazing country. I would definitely recommend you read this!
