I cannot explain how excited I am to read songbirds!! Christy Leftri’s writing style is mesmerising and when I first read the beekeeper of aleppo I was stunned!! I couldn’t put that book down, the story itself and the writing made it such a great reading experience.
If you haven’t read any of her books, what are you waiting for?? In my opinion she is one of the most underrated authors, who deserves plenty more recognition than she has right now. I just know she’ll be one of the most famous authors soon.
I know I didn’t rite much about the actual book, the songbirds… sorry about that haha.
But seriously, I went into reading her first books without knowing much about it and it was amazing. I still hold this opinion for this book, don’t go around trying to find out everything about it, just get on with it without knowing much or being too influenced by others’ opinions.
