Songbirds… brilliant. What a book. I enjoyed it so much the detail of the characters was amazing I got so attached to each one. I got this book two days ago and have already finished it. It is emotionally gripping I just couldn’t put it down. The multiple povs from Nishas boyfriend and boss make the story so much better with the two very different feelings and reasons for loving her. I have finished this book a few hours ago and yet I am still upset. The ending was not what o expected at all. I always expect a happy ever after but this book pulls on the heart strings like no other. This book was so so good. I recommend that everyone reads this even if you are more into fantasy and romance because that is what I would have said before reading this book and now I am so glad I have. I now know just a small amount of the hardships many refugees and migrants have when they come to our countries. Songbirds has opened my eyes in a beautiful and compelling way. This book is a must read and everyone should read it at least once in their lifetime.
