When I first started reading this book I couldn’t get into it but after the first few chapters I was hooked on it and couldn’t put it down. Petra and Yiannis fight to find out what has happened to Nisha is truly remarkable and comforting at the same time , Petra finally begins to not only understand herself but also what nisha actually means to her and more importantly what she meant to her daughter Aliki who she has basically brought up since birth all the while her own daughter who lives with her grandmother in her native Sri Lanka had to grow up with only FaceTime and phone calls, its truly heartbreaking to know that things like this actually happen in today’s world. Then we have yiannis who wants to change himself for nisha who he truly loves but nisha doesn’t like the way in which he makes his living but he will give it all up for her.
