Lefteri never fails! This book was beautifully written with the descriptions of the authors birthplace exemplifying the love she holds for her country. The storyline was well structured and I always love books that dedicate chapters to different characters so we can hear the story from many narratives. In particular the plight of the lead character, albeit it without her own voice in the book, is presented with such raw emotion and carries a beautiful voice for those who aren’t often heard. With protagonists and antagonist throughout I was lead on a journey to understand how those who often work hardest are most under appreciated and I commend the authors decision to tell the story of those most unheard. This book will leave you questioning how you treat those who are often forgotten. I cannot wait to see what Lefteri brings out next.
