I didn't want this excerpt to end and what a cliff hanger it has left us on - just who are the strange monks? What exactly is Ebony Abbey? More worryingly is Ferius really dead?
So many questions that I need the answers too - and I do mean NEED!
There is one little niggle that I have with this book and that is that the the last 3 have all started with Kellen staring death in the face and having to outwit his opponent (or get Ferius and Reichis to) before the tale proper starts. Note to Mr De Castell the readers have noticed your formula young man!
My other niggle is with Readers First - we can only use points to purchase one book a week and I loved both of these first impressions and now have to try and decide which one to plump for and which one to purchase (haven't been lucky in a drawing for 7 months or so).
