I like thrilling books and blood-spilling book or what one of my family member calls it, 'barbaric'. This book have some of those blood-spilling turns and black-mailing too. It is quite nice to read. However, the plot is a little bit confusing to me as I can't seem to grasp what is going on in the first 10 pages. The style of writing is okay but the choice of words used is just so-so for me. Hence, it is good for entertainment but it is not a good reading material to improve your English if your English level is about C1 or B2 which is band 6-9 in IELTS. I do like some of the black-mailing in the book such as "You know I can just rip
your eyeballs right out of their sockets and eat them while
you sleep, right?" That sentence said from one of the characters in that book excites me and motivates me to read further more. However, the grammar in the book is not that good and I can detect the grammatical error quite frequently. Therefore, warning have been given. Read at your own stake.
