Honestly the whole Spellslinger series is one of my favourites and this book continues and lives up to its brilliant legacy!
This book continued with Kellan’s absolutely hilarious wit, which as always, is incredible to read about, as well as continue the great fast pace of the books, so that we as readers are constantly on the edge of our seat, anxious for what’s going to happen next! Also the brilliance of the world building just gets better and better and i just love it the more i read it!
I love how we learn more about the intricacies of Kellan’s family, as well as learning more about the shadow black in general. It was strange however seeing him go on an adventure without Ferius or Reichis, however it did allow Kellan to mature more without them, especially as he’s all grown up now. I absolutely adore all the new characters as well and as always i recommend this book!
