All of the Spellslinger books are so amusing. They actually make me laugh out loud. The humour is so perfectly me, I love it. These books are so enjoyable, they just never fail to make me smile. This was no different, I enjoyed the storyline and characters but none of the books compares to the first book for me, that remains my favourite. I can’t help but enjoy all these adventures and troubles Kellen seems to find himself in.
Cursed with the Shadowblack, Kellen is desperate to find a cure for his curse and of course, once he hears about the Ebony Abbey, he and reichis go in search of it to get the cure. As always, things don’t go smoothly for Kellen, he always finds himself in trouble with someone trying to kill him.
