I KNEAD to get my hands on this! It seems so fun and quirky and intrigued me from the very first sentence. It seems like exactly the genre of books i am into at the moment and i would love to find out more about this! Great comedy isn’t heartless – far from it. When we laugh at its protagonists, we also laugh at ourselves and i think this extract achieves this quintessentially.The characters and situations are vivid and beautiful, and will already i can see that it remain with you long after you’ve finished the book. The ending, 'This is all to say: I’d never baked bread in my life.' had me squealing in delight.The cover is amazing... everytime i look at it i am gripped!
