Wow, this tale buckets along at some speed. You are plunged straight in to Lois' tale and she never lets you stop for breath. As though life is all the code she types daily at inhuman speed so the story rollocks along. Not ot the detriment of minutiae, oh no, Lois' solitary existence (apart from the ubiquitous desk cactus) is laid bare in all it's flatness.

You start reading and just run and run with it and then, then, the first impression was over and I found myself hungry for more. Not more slurry, that sounds far too Soylent Green for my liking, but definitely more double spicy.
