I was not sure what to expect from this book based on the blurb so was very surprised to find myself really enjoying the First Look.
I am currently studying for a psychology degree and have just recently studied artificial intelligence which meant I could make associations between what I have learnt and the coding talk in this book. I particularly liked the part on 'proprioception' as I found myself acting in a similar way to the main character after learning about it.
The plot for this book is very unique and the writing style also seems different to many books. I really did enjoy it and found myself wanting to find out where the story goes.
I really like the bold and simple cover design and I do feel like it would grab my attention in a bookstore.
