I recieved this as a gift so it definitely isn't something I'd usually buy, and I know why. I actually really liked the first part of the blurb, with Lois trying to take over her friend's restaurant and make it successful, but then it just got weird!
I was expecting some kind of light-hearted chick flick book but that's definitely not what this is. As Lois starts to sell her bread to more and more people, someone suggests that she should join the cities secret food club. She moves into some kind of underground warehouse, the sourdough grows exponentially, and then I got completely lost with the book and stopped reading.
Overall I think this could be a really good book, it's just not at all for me.
