This book is about a man trying to get his life back on track after the death of his son, which can never be easy but all is not as it seems, his son is a lie. He is told this by a woman who approaches him when he is with his daughter and then proceeds to tell him everything that he knows about his life. The story follows the main characters who all have a different storyline that we learn about.
Before I read this book, I had never heard of CJ Carver and I can’t lie, I love discovering new authors but I don’t think that I will dive back into their work as it is not a genre that I usually sway towards but I did somewhat enjoy this book.
This book was fast paced, tense, gripping and suspenseful and those who enjoy reading this genre will totally enjoy this book.
