I really like the cover of this book. The stark white with contrasting black outline on the cover fits in well with the description of the letter inviting Greer to the school and then the added red blood drops as well the writing in red which looks like it could be written in blood add a hint of what is about to come within the book.
Having read the opening pages I really liked the way it opened as if it was Greer telling you about what had happened. The style of writing is enjoyable and it lets you know straight away that something bad happened and left me wanting to read the full book to find out exactly how everything unfolded.
