The book is well written and easy flowing. I like the fact that right at the start it grabs your attention with "murder". Now, me being a sucker for mysteries, murders, and crimes, I leaped straight into it.

When reading, I really started to get enveloped into the story, I liked the idea that as I was reading it it felt as if this place was real, and with the detail describing the people, the place, and the environment, I couldn't help but picture every word on every page.

I will say, my favourite part right from the start was the comparison of being a 'murderer' and being involved in the group like a group of Fox hunters. I loved the idea of how Bennett brought these comparisons together, as well as used it to open the story and really entice you to read on.

I also loved the approach to how Bennett talks about events that have happened, but also uses the events to be seen as an opportunity to describe the background of a particular character. The added humour in a few places, such as the "paid attention in Geography as you do in History" moment, was a nice touch to not only showing a true part of some of the characters, but also gets the reader to feel exactly what it would have been like to be looking on to this situation.

The opening first few chapters were really good. It left off at just the right moment to make me think "F*** I really want to find out what happens". Anyway, I will be getting this book regardless, if I win or not, because this is just an outstanding book that has, most certainly, got my attention. So, to the Author, Bennett, well done!
