This book is a classic murder mystery, questioning who your friends and enemies are, blood sports that turn deadly and even a possible century long tradition that needs to be stopped.
It surprised me page after page and I didn't expect the story to be so gripping and exciting. Its not my favourite type of book as I prefer fantasy but I definitely enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good crime book. I found the characters were well developed and the villains and hero's were well distinguished, it really had me on the edge of my seat right till the end and it became more and more interesting as I waited to see what would happen to our protagonist.
I don't think I would read it again however I think it was an exciting read and I found it a fun change to what I normally read, the author presented each character well and told the tale with lots of twists and turns which I found made it even better.
