Please do yourself a favour: read S.T.A.G.S. and give it the praise and promotion it deserves. I only happened to stumble upon this book by chance but it’s became one of my favourite Y.A reads of from the past few years! It’s an undiscovered gem and I honestly can’t quite understand how it’s managed to fly under the radar.
It’s totally refreshing and relevant in today’s political and social climate, with fantastic discussions about class, ethnicity and diversity that many will be swept away by. I felt myself able to easily engage and sympathise with both the heroes and the villains of the story, with several stand out scenes that I could imagine cinematically. One of the easiest five stars I’ve ever given!
