Although this book is found in the Young Adult section in the library, it can be enjoyed by much older readers.
The story is about sixth formers at an elite boarding school and the differences between the Mediaevals (those from traditional, aristocratic backgrounds who don't like changes including hi tech inventions) and the Savages (everybody who is not a Mediaeval.)
There are frequent references to classic films and books which I loved.
This book is so clever. Although I haven't read Game of Thrones or The Hunger Games, I'm sure this book would appeal to those fans and could be made into a great film.
The author has deliberately left the ending ambiguous !so that a sequel may be written. I will certainly be one of the readers of any future books about S.T.A.G.S
