I read S.T.A.G.S a little while again and expected a fun and tense teen thriller. What I got was a predictable story of middle class bullies and unrealistic scenarios that of course lead to disaster and near death experiences. While the book was easy to read and had it's moments it was just a little too lacklustre for me.
I did like the main character, she seemed nice although maybe a little naive, there was also an annoying amount her chastising herself for being a "bad feminist" because of finding a fellow student attractive which is not what feminism is about and really quite annoyed me.
In short, it was a predictable mess of cliques and although it was an easy read and made me smile once or twice it still didn't live up to what I was expecting from a decent teen thriller.
