I actually attempted to read this book multiple times and could not get into it.
As a fan of books like The Secret History by Donna Tartt, i was really interested in what I thought would be a young adult version set in the United Kingdom.

It was just such a difficult read. I managed to get to page sixty before putting the book down and giving up reading it. The characters were pretentious, the setting generic, and the storyline of what I read Just wasn't interesting or original enough to bother continuing. It also seems to be a series, which I don't understand how the story could be stretched out for that long.

I think there are other books out there with a similar vibe, especially recently, which are better. After reading Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson, this felt like a knock-off/ let down. If you're someone who is new to the genre, I think this would be a good place to start
