I enjoyed this, it wasn't brilliant by any means but it wasn't awful either. I thought the concept was a little too far-fetched for my liking, but not far-fetched enough that it was acceptable, like a popular dystopian for example. (I realise that that statement didn't make too much sense but I know what I mean) The characters were kind of dull, nothing special, but what boosted this for me was the suspense and the build up that was involved. This was done really well and it was what ultimately kept me reading, when otherwise I probably wouldn't have. The suspense and build up was what made me enjoy it overall in the end, and for me there were no other particularly redeeming qualities. I was expecting to enjoy this much more than I did, but I still liked it somewhat.
