S.T.A.G.S. by M.A. Bennett is described as "Dark, twisted and disturbing." and "A thriller that twists and turns right to the end."... No. While S.T.A.G.S. is an extremely good book and is very well written, it just isn't what it's made out to be. To someone who hasn't read many thrillers, this novel would seem dark, twisted and disturbing. But to me, it felt disappointing as there were no points where i lifted my hand to my mouth in shock. No parts where my jaw literally dropped. Most of it just feels like a build up for the shocking reveals in the last few chapters. In my opinion, the blurb gives too much away. I knew what was going to happen before I added it to my amazon basket. I definitely recommend it though, it's a fantastic read.
