I am a fan of fantasy books so thrillers are not my first choice. But this book was pretty good. It kept me in trance till the end. Don't get me wrong, the plot is good but it is a bit predictable. When Greer got the invitation, in my mind were two scenarios. The story continued as i expected but not as bloody as i wanted. I know it is a YA thriller but i was into the story, i felt what the characters felt. So the blood could make it more real. But after i finished it, i could tell that the plot is a good idea and it makes you to want to know what is next.
The cover is interesting and mysterious, the drop of blood with the antlers on a white background works perfect with the plot. The book is easy to read so it is not hard to follow the actions. The only thing, that i enjoyed at first but till the end it became boring for me, was the movie references. There are too many. But I accepted because i knew that it is easier to describe the places or the people for the reader to understand.
As a conclusion, if you are a fan of thrillers and you want something easy to read then this is your book.
